Cake!

My friend has volunteered to make the cake! My ideas are quite ambitious however, so were going to have a play and see what we can come up with! I really like the idea of having the figures rock climbing up the cake or something funny like that!

Blanket

I've made some extra bunting flags to experiment with how to fasten them together to make a blanket, as it's too exciting to wait until after the wedding! I think it looks quite good although they aren't quite sitting flat together. I haven't made a blanket from triangles before and the design is for bunting and not a blanket. I'm hoping it evens our more when I add more triangles

Nutella jars

Here are some more table decorations. It's quite fitting to use nutella jars for decorations as T-J is a big fan of nutella. Its very convenient that my current housemate and recently appointed bridesmaid is also a fan, so I have been able to collect many jars to decorate! I put some LED tea lights inside as this will be their job on the tables!

Surprise present

A nice surprise gift! This will be a very exciting countdown!

Cake stands

We're planning to organise cakes and snacks after the ceremony for everyone who wishes to attend. I really like cake stands and here's one I got for Christmas! I think it would be pretty to have lots of different stands to make a display

Things I've made so far

Above are some bottles I've been decorating with various bits of fabric and ribbons. Have tried lots of different things and think I like how they look a bit random all together. 

 

I wanted to think of something to make to decorate the aisle in church without spending a fortune, and rather like this idea, think they look pretty!

A new blog!

I've never made a blog before, but everyone else seems to be doing it so thought I'd have a go! I've been making lots of things for my wedding in November 2014, and thought this would be a good way of recording all the things I make and seeing how the progress goes when it all comes together (hopefully!) in November!
