The amazing wedding cake was made for us by one of our bridesmaids as a gift to us. It was so perfect for our wedding and I'm convinced we couldn't have paid a professional to make one better for us!

The dress hooked up at the back for the ceilidh, it was such fun to swish around in it on the dance floor!

Bridesmaids all ready to go! It was lovely to see them all together at last as until the day before the wedding i'd only seen them try on one at a time.

As I hadn't posted any veil pictures up before the wedding I decided to make a quick entry now with more pictures of it. I learnt how to make one from a tutorial I found on google, and it was much easier than i had expected. I adapted the design I'd found on the internet so that the veil was long at the front and sides, and was as long as possible with the fabric I had at the back. I made my own pattern up to embroider on using a metallic blue thread, and also send on some crystals as well.
