Bunting and favours

The wedding preparations have been in full swing this weekend. Suits are ordered, as are the all important rings! More invitations distributed too.

I've started preparing some things for mass production of favours closer to the wedding. I've cut up cellophane into squares, ready to wrap up some yummy sweets and attach the place labels i've been creating.

This evening I have also competed some more bunting. My sister gave me some triangles she cut out some time ago, and I have sewn them onto a ribbon with her sewing machine which I have borrowed. The colours aren't in keeping with the general theme, but I thought they will come in useful some where

Lantern with lights and seating plan board

I put some lights in the lantern and think they look splendid. I think it would make a nice arrangement in the courtyard perhaps. Also I have recycled some birthday cards by cutting out some pretty designs that I plan to use to decorate the seating plan board

Little and large lanterns

Can't take much credit for making these, except that the large one came flat packed from ikea so I had to assemble it! These with have some LED tea lights inside them which I think with look splendid

More bottles with a new type of ribbon!

We decided with the florist that it would be best to have lots of different sized jars for flowers to go in, rather than just tall bottles, so here are some different sized ones with a new patterned ribbon!

More hangings

I bought 4 of the wicker hearts that are very way to come by in shops these days, but thought I'd decorate them to make them better!

Seating plan

I've been thinking about how the seating plan board will go. I bought some nice sparkly card and have played around with it a bit. So far my ideas are like this. It's hard to know exactly how big to make the tables as the guest numbers, and therefore the number of tables, isn't sorted yet.

Wrap

Been working some more of the warm wrap thing. May or may not wear it, depending on if it works with the rest of the outfit. I'll maybe just have it to hand if it's chilly, or for trips outside is it's nice to spot nearby firework displays (there surely will be some the Saturday before bonfire night!). I did a different kind of stitch to make the edging and also sewed beads on to make it more special
